Pride for Parents is a program of FCS Community Economic Development. It seeks to provide high quality, new and gently used toys and gifts for hard working families in the South Atlanta community at an affordable price. We believe that there is dignity for families in purchasing their own Christmas gifts for their children and family.
What: Pride for Parents Toy and Gift Sale
Where: South Atlanta Marketplace – 1297 Jonesboro Rd. Atlanta, GA 30315
When:
Sale – November 25- December 24 10 am-6 pm
Donations – October 1 – December 23
How you can help:
Monetary Gifts – Gifts of $25 to $1000 helps to supplement our toy drive by providing for our job training program, as well as, supplying any toys/gifts for the sale that we do not receive through donation
Toy Drives – Establish a toy drive at your church or business. We will provide you with promotional materials, can be available to pick-up toys, as well as, come to speak to your group. New and gently used toys only please!
Volunteering – Staring November 1, come by the store to help sort, wrap, display, or pick up gifts. Great activity for small youth groups or families!
Why: Pride for Parents is a local initiative that supports local families that could use a little extra help during the Christmas season. In addition to providing affordable toys and gifts for under-resourced families, you will be helping to support our year round job-training program for neighborhood young adults.
